For the position of Reservations Employee, we are looking for a new colleague who is available part-time or full-time, who is hospitable and service-oriented, but who also takes advantage of every commercial opportunity! You are able to make a genuine click with the guest and convey the “Feel Welcome” feeling. You have very strong communication skills, you can work independently and you go for results. We speak to many international guests by telephone and email, so it is important that you have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language. You are flexible in terms of working days and working hours and have no objection to working in varying shifts. You are available for evening shifts and weekends.
As a Reservations Officer at ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport you are responsible for accepting and processing individual and group reservations. You have a lot of contact with guests via email and telephone and it is your role to process requests. You see every reservation as a potential lead to more business. You also know by asking the right questions and listening carefully to customers to skillfully use every commercial opportunity. You proactively inform guests and customers about possibilities in the hotel. 'Feel Challenged' is our motto and that is absolutely possible in this position.
