Contributing to organizing a great meeting or event for our (international) guests is what drives you. Regardless the size of the meeting(s) we host, from small to (really!) large - no day is the same! Flexible working hours and a close team is therefore important!
You are the guide who welcomes our guests on our conference floor and points each in the right direction. Guests recognize you by your big smile and your helping hand. You ensure a neat, clean and tidy environment in and around the conference floor / meeting rooms. Though you are not alone, together with the rest of the Banqueting team you are responsible for setting up an event, provide service during and afterwards closing down. To summarize, this is a position where teamwork, personal service and working hard come together!
The banqueting facilities are located within the hotel and the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, a total combined conference space exceeding 1900m2, incl. 11 modern and spacious conference and boardroom all equipped with high tech AV solutions. Through ijVENUES, the new exhibition centre of Amsterdam, both participants and conference space is greatly extended, with endless creative meeting opportunities together with our various partners.
You are proactive, independent and can organize your time efficiently. In addition, you have a can-do attitude, enjoy a good challenge and have a work hard/play hard mentality.
We are a member of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland and operate according to the Dutch labor agreement.
