The perfect candidate:

- Are someone with a genuine desire to join a dynamic, focused and highly motivated commercial team

- Have experience and get energy from selling meetings & events

- You have experience in selling experiences rather than products.

- You are curious, enthusiastic and creative.

- Strong in the strategic side of meetings & events, sales and planning

- Good at negotiating terms and always keeping the interests of the hotel in mind

- Likes to build and maintain lasting relationships

- Has a college degree, preferably graduated from a Hotel Management or Event Management program

- Have experience in, and affinity with, the hotel and event industry

- Are structured and stress resistant

- Are flexible

- Are representative

- Are accurate and have an eye for detail and quality

- Team player, but can also work independently

- Have good knowledge of the English and Dutch language orally and in writing

- Knowledge of Opera V5 is an advantage

What are you doing to do:

- Organize the most diverse meetings & events for Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre and IJVenues, from request to after sales.

- Together with the team you work out offers and present them convincingly to the customer.

- You approach customers proactively, convince them of our qualities and put us in the spotlight.

- Once confirmed, you take care of the development of the program and the internal communication to other departments.
