But what is this job really about? As Chef de Partie in Pastry you will join a team of 5 international and ambitious individuals. Together you prepare all requirements for our Michelin-star restaurant Bridges, as well as orders from our Library, the Banqueting -, and Roomservice department.
It is important for you to have a creative mindset, constantly striving to improve current products and designing new recipes in consultation with our Chef Patissier, Martin Baux. Within your position you guide the Demi Chef de Partie in Pastry, keeping a close eye on the time constraints and required planning during the service. In addition to this some tasks involve but are certainly not limited to placing orders with our Cost Control department, controlling and adhering to HACCP standards at all times, and training our enthusiastic trainees.
